Traditionally, personal monograms are stitched in the order of first name initial, last name initial (stitched larger in center), middle name initial. For example, the name Lily Chandler June would read LJC, with the J appearing larger in the center.
Marriage monograms are stitched with the last name initial larger in the center. The bride’s first name initial appears on the left and the groom’s first name initial appears on the right. For example, Wendy and Brian Sullivan would read WSB with the S appearing larger in the center.
You may also elect to have your monogram stitched straight across in the order of first, middle, and last name initials. In this case, the Times New Roman Straight font offers three initials of identical size. If you would like a name embroidered, please select this font and type the name in the boxed area on the poduct page. Boat and beach house names are also popular embroidery choices.
Please note that pockets will be stitched shut to maximize embroidery area.
